Village Style Gluten Free Granny Smith Apple Crumble Recipe

Ingredients:
- 7 large granny smith apples (peeled and diced 5X5cm)
- 120gm castor sugar
- 20 ml lemon juice
- 60gm sultanas
Crumble topping:
- 180 gm YesYouCan Apple and Cinnamon Muffin Mix
- 100gm brown sugar
- 125gm unsalted butter
- 60gm silvered almonds ( optional)
Directions:
- Pre heat oven to 180 C or 160 C fan forced
- Place apples, sugar, lemon juice and sultanas in a bowl. Toss to combine and place in a greased 15cm X 10cm ceramic oven proof baking shallow tray. Level the apples well
- To make crumble, place the YesYouCan Apple & Cinnamon Muffin Mix, sugar, butter in a food processor and pulse for a few seconds until it resembles a crumble mix
- Add almonds (optional) and mix by hand
- Sprinkle over apples
- Bake for 50 mins until golden brown and crisp and the apple is tender.
- Serve with ice cream or pouring cream
