Elevate a simple muffin mix to this delicious and moist muffin for the whole family! The crispy crumble top is simply amazing.

Follow this easy recipe below:

Ingredients:

- YesYouCan Apple & Cinnamon Muffin Mix
- 80g melted margarine
- 160g water
- 2 eggs or YesYouCan Vegan Egg Replacer
- unsweetened applesauce
- Granny Smith and Honeycrisp apples

Crumble Topping:

- 2 cups almond meal
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp chilled butter

 

Directions:

  1. Combine YesYouCan Apple & Cinnamon Muffin Mix, eggs, oil, and water
  2. Mix the ingredients together with a spatula until well combined
  3. Chop apples into cubes and fold in the muffin mixture
  4. Line muffin tray with baking paper
  5. Scoop muffin mixture into the muffin tray
  6. Using a teaspoon, scoop applesauce in the center of the muffins
  7. Combine almond meal, sugar, and chilled butter and mix into a crumble
  8. Add almond meal or sugar as required to get a crumbly consistency
  9. Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top of the muffins
  10.  Bake for 30 minutes at 160C fan-forced oven
