Apple Cinnamon Gluten Free Waffles Recipe

  • 40gms YesYouCan Apple and Cinnamon Muffin Mix
  • 15gms unsalted butter
  • 10gms caster sugar
  • 10ml milk
  • 1/2 egg

Caramelised apple:

  • 40gms apples
  • 20gms caster sugar
  • 7.5gms unsalted butter
  • 20gms whipped cream



For the Waffle Mix:

  • Preheat the waffle iron
  • Melt the butter in a pan till brown
  • Weigh the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Add the egg to the dry ingredients, mix well
  • Add the brown butter, followed by milk to the mixture
  • Mix to form a batter consistency
  • Pour the waffle mix in the waffle iron and cook till golden brown in colour

For the caramelised apples:

  • In a clean dry pan, weigh the sugar. Cut the apples into small cubes.
  • Keep all the ingredients ready before starting the caramel
  • Start off caramelisation of the sugar on a medium flame. Do not stir the sugar as it will cause it to crystallise
  • Once all the sugar is melted and started to turn a amber colour, add in the butter and reduce the heat to low
  • Once the butter is melted, add in the apples and mix to ensure the caramel coats the apples.
  • Leave it to cool
